Since 1997, I have worked with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD), in a range of management positions, leading to my appointment, in 2004
Between 2002 and 2004, one of my major tasks was to co-ordinate the production of the National Human Development Report for Jordan for which JOHUD was the implementing agency

Deputy Executive Director of JOHUD, my main duties involve the following:
Set the strategic vision for JOHUD with the management team, to guide operations
Liaise with policy-makers to ensure that JOHUD’s efforts support national strategic priorities
Harness the resources (human, financial, physical and social) of JOHUD to meet objectives efficiently and effectively
Ensure the implementation of action plans and the sustainability of the organisation
Build partnerships with different stakeholders and represent JOHUD in relevant forums
Participate in developing project ideas, review and agree project proposals
Develop and manage development forums to create the space for policy dialogue and to advocate for policy change
